Milad focuses on the development of photonic component and circuit simulation tools as well as process design kits (PDKs) for foundry partners. In his role as Senior R&D Engineer at Ansys, he has been involved in various R&D projects in the field of semiconductor microsystems and nanodevices with specialization in optoelectronics. Prior to joining Ansys, Milad was a Solutions Engineer at Lumerical when the company was acquired by Ansys in 2020.

  • Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering Degree from University of Alberta, Canada
