Overview

Ansys 2024 R1 brings new features to Ansys Mechanical to help users solve more significant, complex challenges efficiently. This webinar will cover the top highlights in Mechanical for this release, including:

  • Interacting with Mechanical is more flexible and efficient than ever, with new dark and light themes maintaining consistent user experience across Ansys products.
  • A standalone version of Mechanical offers easier access for scripting and single-model analyses
  • Improved noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) simulations with significant enhancements for streamlining vibroacoustic workflows, including:
    • Dedicated meshing workflows
    • Performance improvements forFEM acoustics simulations
    • Expanded product offering to fully support end-to-end NVH workflows
  • A one billion degree of freedom (DOF) low-pressure gas turbine (LPT) assembly model was solved using Sparse Direct solver
  • Accurately and efficiently perform Body-in-White (BiW) durability analyses with workflow improvements
  • Efficiently transfer data, including deformed geometry positions and stress state, between multiple Ansys LS-DYNA analyses with new multi-system analysis linking methods
  • Increased flexibility when post-processing Ansys Motion results
