About this Webinar

Head-up display (HUD) technology is nothing new, but its increasing popularity in automotive applications pushes engineers to dream bigger when designing these types of systems. Optical and mechanical engineers must decrease the package size of their HUD systems while increasing performance. Additionally, engineers must be able to keep costs down and development cycles short. Towards this end, we propose a multi-platform simulation solution utilizing Ansys Speos and Ansys Zemax OpticStudio for designing HUD systems for automotive applications.

What You Will Learn

  • Rapid design of a conceptual HUD system
  • Automated transfer of optical design from Ansys Speos to Ansys Zemax OpticStudio
  • Optimization/tolerancing of HUD mirror shape, coatings, and position
  • Experience system-level performance of HUD under environmental conditions

Who Should Attend
