Ansys Mechanical Workbench Additive
(Self-paced Learning Available)

Course Overview

This course is designed to provide knowledge about the 3D print process simulation.

It will give you a general overview of the challenges when simulating a print process. Once you have obtained the optimized shape from Ansys Mechanical using Structural Optimization tools, you’ll be able to simulate the printing manufacturing process.

It requires you to consider the orientation of the part in the printer, the materials to be used and the design of the support structure. The course teaches you how to use wizard for PBF and DED process simulation. Calibration steps are also explained in the course.

Prerequisites

Target Audience

Engineers and Designers working with printing process for additive manufacturing.

Teaching Method

Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge. A training certificate is provided to all attendees who complete the course.
