Course Overview

In this course, you will learn how to create a freeform surface using the SpaceClaim mechanical tools.  You will also learn how to analyse photometric results in Speos and create measures and rules.

  • Ansys Speos Getting Started
  • Ansys Speos Embedded Optimizer 

Teaching Method

Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge. A training certificate is provided to all attendees who complete the course.

  • Create and parametrize a freeform reflector.
  • Setup a complete Speos project.
  • Analyze the Speos photometric result and create measures and rules.
  • Setup and run an optimization using the Speos embedded optimizer.
