Ansys Speos for NX Optical Part Design Basics

Course Overview

This course explains how to design parabolic surface, aspheric lens from polynomial or automatic definition (for compact LED projector module, Fresnel Lens, etc.) and Total Internal Reflection lens.

Prerequisites

  • A working knowledge of NX
  • Completion of Ansys Speos for NX Getting Started.

Target Audience

Optical or mechanical engineers and designers for automotive or lighting industries.

Teaching Method

Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge.
