Getting Started

Course Overview

In this course, you will find a general overview of ASDforEV (Active Sound Design for Electric Vehicles) with a few application cases and you will learn how to use the software’s main features.

Prerequisites

  • The completion of Ansys Acoustics Getting Started and Ansys Sound Perception Getting Started, Ansys VRXPERIENCE Sound – Analysis and Specification Getting Started 
  • Recommended Hardware: USB-CAN converter device (Dewesoft DS CAN 2, National Instruments NI USB-8473)

Target Audience

Acoustic Engineers, Sound Designers, System Integration Engineers

Teaching Method

Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge.

Learning Outcome

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Set and switch between different presets
  • Control sound function both manually and according to a predefined scenario
  • Set different sound functions such as AVAS, ADAS, HMI, etc.
  • Send external control data to ASDforEV
