ANSYS VRXPERIENCE Headlamp Advanced

Overview

In this course, you will be able to measure the discomfort glare generated by the other vehicle's headlamp from the driver’s point of view. With a Simulink plugin, you will be able to evaluate the performance of a headlamp according to the IIHS test. 

Thanks to a plugin mechanism connected with model-based development tools (C#, C++, Simulink), you can assess the headlight inputs and outputs in real-time or external synchronization with ANSYS VRXPERIENCE/ANSYS SCADE in order to develop cycle of dynamic control laws for intelligent lighting systems.

Learning Outcome

Following the completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Analyze and correct the Glare effect with the Boer Calculation

  • Control and include intelligent lighting

  • Test and improve headlights with the IIHS Test

Prerequisites

  • A working knowledge of ANSYS VRXPERIENCE.

  • Completion of ANSYS VRXPERIENCE Headlamp Getting Started

 

Target Audience: Automotive Program Engineers and System Integration Engineers

Teaching Method: Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge.
