ANSYS SPEOS Photometric Analysis Advanced


This course explains how to evaluate materials, lighting systems performance and appearance, and extends analysis to radiometry from Ultraviolet to near Infrared.

Learning Outcome

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Set up a source in an optical simulation.

  • Set up a sensor and an inverse simulation for a photometric and radiometric analysis.

  • Display and analyze the optical simulation results.


  • Completion of ANSYS SPEOS Surface Contribution Analysis and ANSYS SPEOS Spectroscopy

Target Audience: Optical or mechanical engineers and designers for automotive or lighting industries.

Teaching Method: Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge.
