ANSYS SPEOS for NX Photometric Analysis Advanced


This course explains how to simulate lighting systems performance in the visible light range and evaluate photometric magnitude.

Learning Outcome

Following the completion of this course, you will be able to: 

  • Apply optical properties to fully define the CAD geometry for simulation.

  • Create optical sources and detectors.

  • Realize ray tracing and simulations.

  • Interpret and analyze simulation results.



  • Completion of ANSYS SPEOS for NX Surface Contribution Analysis, and ANSYS SPEOS Spectroscopy or ANSYS SPEOS for NX Light Path Finder.

Target Audience: Engineers and Designers

Teaching Method: Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge.
