ANSYS SPEOS for NX Optical Part Design Basics

Overview

This course explains how to design parabolic surface, aspheric lens from polynomial or automatic definition (for compact LED projector module, Fresnel Lens, etc) and Total Internal Reflection lens.

Prerequisites

  • A working knowledge of NX

  • To have followed the courses: ANSYS SPEOS for NX Getting Started and Optical Theory.

Target Audience: Engineers and Designers

Teaching Method: Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge.
