This course explains how to design complex optical surfaces and lenses such as Poly-Ellipsoid Reflector, Optical Lens, Honeycomb Lens, and create and analyze light guides.

Following the completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Design optical surfaces, lenses and light guides.

  • Modify and validate optical parts.

 

Prerequisites

  • A working knowledge of NX

  • The Optical Part Design add-on

  • Completion of ANSYS SPEOS for NX Optical Part Design Basics.

Target Audience: Engineers and Designers

Teaching Method: Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge.
