ANSYS SPEOS for NX HUD Optical Analysis

Overview

This course explains how to analyze a Head Up Display for automotive by optimizing optical systems (mirror layouts and shapes) directly into its environment for a better validation.

Learning Outcome

Following the completion of this course, you will be able to:

 

  • Master HUD virtual image characteristics

  • Understand defects altering driver’s image perception 

  • Test optical design against HUD specifications

  • Compare technical proposals or design options

  • Validate design against acceptance criteria

 

Prerequisites

  • 32019 R3 The HUD Design & Analysis add-on

  • Completion of ANSYS SPEOS for NX Getting Started

 

Target Audience: Lighting Photometric Designer, Automotive Program and System Integration Engineers
