ANSYS SPEOS for CATIA V5 Optical Part Design Basics

Overview

This course explains how to design optical surface (parabolic, elliptical, collimated), aspheric lens from polynomial or automatic definition (for compact LED projector module, Fresnel Lens, etc.) and Total Internal Reflection lens.

Prerequisites

  • A working knowledge of CATIA V5

  • To have followed the courses ANSYS SPEOS for CATIA V5 Getting Started and Optical theory.

Target Audience: Engineers and Designers

Teaching Method: Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge.
