Non-Linear Implicit Analysis in Ansys LS-DYNA


LS-DYNA is the market leader for explicit finite element program that is used to perform large deformation analysis. LS-DYNA has its own implicit solver that is capable of solving complex non-linear structural problems. This course will introduce users to theoretical and practical background of LS-DYNA’s implicit capabilities. This course is suited for users that have knowledge and experience from using LS-DYNA or for users who have extensive experience of other implicit solvers.

Learning Outcome

Following completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Benefit from utilizing existing LS-DYNA model in the group, thereby eliminating the need to convert the model to different programming language to solve implicitly.
