ANSYS CFX Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI) with ANSYS Mechanical
Overview
The ANSYS CFX FSI course is an advanced course covering modeling approaches for fluid-structure interaction applications using ANSYS CFX and ANSYS Mechanical. The course will cover setup, solution and convergence of one-way and two-way FSI simulations. Students must have experience running ANSYS CFX and some prior experience using ANSYS Mechanical for the training to be effective.
Learning Outcome
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to select the most appropriate FSI approach, depending on their particular application and the required simulation accuracy.
Prerequisites
-
Completion of the ANSYS CFX Getting Started course is required.
-
Experience with ANSYS CFX is strongly recommended.
-
Experience with ANSYS Mechanical is desirable.
Target Audience: Engineers and Designers
Teaching Method: Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge.
