ANSYS Aeromechanics of Turbomachinery Blades (CFD)
In this course, students will learn the basic theory and application methodsof Aeromechanics of Turbomachinery Blades. They will learn how to apply the 10x faster Transient Blade Row (TBR) methods for transient Blade Flutter Turbomachinery analysis and the new 10x faster Harmonic Analysis hybrid frequency/time solution method. Students must have experience of ANSYS CFX for rotating machinery for the training to be effective.
Upon the successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
Use a streamlined end-to-end workflow for setting up, running and post-processing a Blade Flutter analysis using ANSYS Structural Modal analysis and ANSYS CFX.
- A technical education and background in fluid mechanics is recommended but not mandatory. An engineering degree is not required.
- Completion of the CFX Getting Started course is required.
- Completion of the ANSYS CFX Rotating Machinery Modeling is required.
- Completion of module 4 - Moving and Deforming Meshes of the ANSYS CFX FSI course is recommended.
Target Audience: Fluids Engineers, Thermal Engineers and Aerodynamics Engineers
Teaching Method: Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge. A training certificate is provided to all attendees who complete the course.
