Multiphysics Simulation and the Development of Affordable Robust Electronic Technology for National Security Application - Webinar

In this webinar, ANSYS will introduce the role of physics-based simulation and the importance of multi-physics capabilities for the design of robust electronic systems. Mark Jones of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory will discuss several examples of how multi-physics simulations are being used to develop solutions which prevent acts of terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. Applications will include millimeter-wave body scanners for security screening portals, large-scale eddy current coils for nuclear treaty verification and interdiction of illicit nuclear materials, and ultrasonic inspection systems for non-invasive volumetric interrogation.
