This webinar explores how high-fidelity physics-based simulations are used to help reduce virus transmission in passenger cabins. We will demonstrate how CFD simulations of flow patterns inside cabins can help optimize airflow to safeguard air travel. Additionally, we will spotlight how optical simulation and CFD tools can help improve the sterilization of cabins via UV rays and electrostatic sprays. While simulations alone cannot provide all of the answers, their capability to study large numbers of design permutations and proof of concept designs quickly and efficiently is instrumental for fighting the spread of COVID-19.
