This demonstration covers the meshing process for an initial CFD study for external aerodynamics. The CAD model is exceptiony poor and includes holes, overlaps and poorly define surfaces. Once the model is loaded and you can see this defects think if it would be possible to mesh this in your existing system. A TET and PRISM mesh is then generated with out the need for any CAD repair work. Wake regions and density controls are also used and finy the mesh is converted to HEX dominant for a reduction is cell count.
