Course Overview
Learn the skills necessary to model complex systems of interconnected bodies like steering linkages, drivetrains, vehicles, and mechanisms of all kinds. Understand the advantages of including rigid and flexible bodies in the same mechanical system. Efficiently simulate your system’s vibrational response and extract the natural frequencies and mode shapes. Incorporate specialized analysis models to predict the performance of many complex physical systems, including transmissions, tracked vehicles, and full vehicles.
Prerequisites
- A technical education and a background in the fundamentals of dynamic finite element analysis are strongly recommended.
Target Audience:
All engineers that deal with issues of structural fatigue and durability.
Teaching Method:
Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge.
