소개

본 교육에서는 Lumerical FDTD를 사용하기 위한 기본적인 사용 방법을 제공합니다. Nanophotonics 구조 해석을 위하여 구조 설계 및 시뮬레이션에 관련된 설정에 대하여 설명 및 실습을 병행하며, 최종적으로 시뮬레이션을 진행하여 결과를 얻는 단계까지 학습과정에 포함이 되어 있습니다. 또한 차기 고급 사용자들을 위한 간단한 Script 및 Sweep에 대한 내용도 추가로 다루고 있습니다.

Lumerical FDTD를 처음 접하시거나, Nanophotonics 연관 분야의 대학(원)생 및 엔지니어.

Learning Outcome

Following completion of this course, you will be able to;

  • Understand how FDTD algorithm works in time domain and how it obtains frequency domain results.
  • Define and fine tune material properties.
  • Add and set up FDTD solver region.
  • Select suitable optical source and set it up for various simulation goals.
  • Add one or more monitors and record data of your interest.
  • Analyze and plot simulation results.
