This webinar will discuss the use and background theory of the Generalized Plane Strain method within ANSYS Mechanical, and will show the use with numerical examples. Generalized Plane Strain is a method to allow a 2D mesh to be used to solve problems where the Z deformation and rotation about the X or Y axes can be non zero.
