ANSYS CFX Combustion and Radiation

Overview

This course is designed for existing users of ANSYS CFX. You will learn and achieve an understanding of the basic theory of the models for reacting flow applications, advantages and disadvantages of each model. The knowledge gained will enable you to select the most appropriate modeling approaches for your target applications and simulation objectives.

The advanced combustion modelling course has several tutorials that the students can work through in their own time after the lectures.

Prerequisites

  • A technical education and background is recommended but an engineering degree is not required.

  • Completion of the ANSYS CFX Getting Started course is required.

  • Experience with ANSYS CFX is strongly recommended.

Target Audience: Engineers and Designers

Teaching Method: Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge. A training certificate is provided to all attendees who complete the course.
