Effective Date: July 1, 2020

This Privacy Notice for California Residents (the "Notice"): (a) is provided by ANSYS Inc. and its subsidiaries (collectively, "Ansys"); (b) it supplements Ansys's Global Privacy Notice; and (c) it applies solely to visitors, users, and others who reside in the State of California ("consumers" or "you").

We adopt this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended (the "CCPA") and any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this Notice. In situations of conflict between the Global Privacy Notice and this Notice, this Notice shall govern and control any situation.

Consistent with the CCPA: (a) job applicants, current and former employees, and independent contractors (collectively, "Personnel"); and (b) subjects of business-to-business communications acting solely as representatives of another business (collectively, "Business Representatives"), are not considered consumers for purposes of this Notice. Ansys is largely a "B2B Business," meaning that it provides products and services to mainly other businesses rather than to individuals directly. If you are using this website as a Business Representative or as Personnel, many of the individual CCPA rights described in this Notice are currently inapplicable to you; compliance relating to these areas is addressed separately from this Notice.
