Introduction to Design for Reliability
Recent improvements in simulation and modeling have made it possible to construct what has become known as a digital twin: a digital model with sufficient fidelity to capture both the structural configuration and the operational dynamics of a physical entity or system. However, this has placed burdens on organizations’ historical design for reliability (DfR) processes, requiring higher reliability at lower costs.
This webinar discusses reliability assurance through the requirements, design, conformance and support phases of product manufacturing and product use. It also presents a reliability physics design workflow that will help electronics manufacturers avoid product failures during qualification or in the field.
