Maria T. Shields

Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Maria T. Shields has been our senior vice president and chief financial officer since September 1998. Previously, she served as Ansys’ corporate controller and as a vice president. Prior to joining Ansys, Maria held various positions as a CPA with Deloitte and Touche LLP, including that of audit manager. Maria serves as a director of the First National Bank Pittsburgh Community Board and as a member of the board of trustees of the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the Pennsylvania State University.
