Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system is used for converting NOx into diatomic nitrogen (N2) and water (H2O) with the aid of a catalyst. SCR systems are typically found on large utility boilers, industrial boilers, and for applications such as diesel locomotives, gas turbines, and automobiles.
ANSYS Fluent software has features specifically developed for automotive exhaust aftertreatment. This webinar will provide an overview of the simulation-based analysis on selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems and the modeling strategy of SCR systems. Generally, SCR systems are very sensitive to contamination and plugging which requires additional modeling for risk prediction. This webinar will focus on SCR Risk prediction modeling as well.
