Abstract

Fluent 2019 R1 comes with a new user experience, not only regarding its look, but especially regarding its usability. In this webinar, we will demonstrate the most exciting new features that show the ease the use of Fluent and make your interaction with Fluent more productive: Expressions can replace User Defined Functions (UDFs) for many applications, the search bar and TUI autocompleter will make the creation of journal files a lot quicker, and the set-up of complex cases with many boundary conditions is eased by filters, interactive editing, and drag and drop support.

Presenter Bios

Claudia Guenther, Senior Technical Support Engineer

Claudia studied Computational Engineering Science with a focus on fluid dynamics and combustion at RWTH Aachen University. After obtaining her Diploma, she continued at RWTH Aachen to develop a Cartesian cut-cell flow solver for flows in complex geometries with moving boundaries. She received her Ph.D. in 2014 and afterwards joined the Otterfing office of ANSYS Germany as a Technical Support Engineer. She provides technical support and training for ANSYS customers and channel partners for the ANSYS Fluids and pre-/postprocessing tools with a special focus on workflows and customization. 

Marion Courtois, Technical Support Engineer

Marion is an experienced Engineer in Computational Fluid Dynamics. She is graduate of a French Engineering School. Working at PSA Groupe and Valeo, she studied several CFD Tools. She has been with ANSYS 6 years. Marion works in the Technical Support Team, helping users with Pre-processing, ANSYS Fluent, ANSYS CFX, ANSYS AIM and Turbomachinery tools.
