ANSYS Explicit Dynamics solutions simulate complex high speed phenomena from drop testing to blast loading. While the explicit method is very powerful and does not suffer from convergence issues, computating time can become long. Parallel processing (HPC), improving mesh quality, and numerical technique such as mass scaling can greatly reduce the elapsed time required to complete a problem.
