ANSYS CFD Workflow
The ANSYS Workbench framework holds all the tools you need to create a full process for your CFD simulation. When combining ANSYS DesignModeler to create and/or modify your geometry, ANSYS Meshing to create your mesh and ANSYS Fluent to calculate your solution you get the possibility of a fully parametric and automated CFD process that is easy to use.
Course Aim: This package of training courses provides the knowledge for a new user to set up the whole CFD process inside ANSYS Workbench. This including everything from creating, modifying and meshing a geometry to solving the equations and analysing the results in ANSYS Fluent. We highly recommend this full training package to get an efficient start up using the tools and getting a full understanding of all the steps of the CFD process.
The Training Course Package Includes:
- Introduction to ANSYS DesignModeler
- Geometry Creation
- Geometry Manipulation
- CAD Import and Cleanup
- Introduction to ANSYS Meshing
- Meshing Methods
- Creating Inflation layers
- Local and Global Size Control
- Mesh quality
- Introduction to ANSYS Fluent
- Basic Setup
- General Models
- Ensuring Flow Accuracy
- Post-processing in ANSYS Fluent and ANSYS CFD Post
For more detailed information see the separate training courses listed.
Prerequisites: A technical education and background is recommended but an engineering degree is not required. No previous CFD experience is needed.
