A technical education and background is recommended but an engineering degree is not required.
Course Overview
The complete Intro to ANSYS CFX training is a 4 day training. On day 1 the training will focus on geometry creation and specifically focus on ANSYS DesignModeler. Even if you don't plan on using ANSYS DesignModeler, this day of training could still be helpful since we will discuss some things to think about when creating geometries for CFD analyses and we will also talk about the geometry cleanup tools in ANSYS DesignModeler. If you are unsure if the ANSYS DesignModeler training is right for you, please contact training-se@ansys.com.
On day 2 the training will focus on creating your CFD meshes using ANSYS Meshing. If you will be using another program to create your CFD meshes, you may still find this day of training to be helpful because we will talk about some of the important things that you need to consider when creating CFD meshes. If you are unsure if the ANSYS Meshing training is right for you, please contact training-se@ansys.com.
On day 3 and 4 the training will focus on the CFX solver and how to setup, solve and post-process your results from ANSYS CFX.
Course Description
This course is intended for people who have had little or no experience with ANSYS CFX. New users of the software should register for the four-day training course which includes the following topics:
- Day 1: Introduction to ANSYS DesignModeler
- Day 2: Introduction to ANSYS Meshing
- Day 3: Introduction to CFD and the ANSYS CFX Solver
- Day 4: Continuation of ANSYS CFX training
