The ICEM CFD WINDMASTER interface writes the grid, boundary condition and cell flag information in the WINDMASTER input file format. These files have following suffixes:

Creating the WINDMASTER Input File

The translator writes the WINDMASTER input files using a super domain file (super_domain.1), the boundary condition file (boco) and the topology file (topo_mulcad_out). The muti-blocks structured grid should be transformed into a super domain grid file in advance. To create the WINDMASTER input file, select the translator "WINDMASTER" in the "Output" menu from the ICEM CFD/CAE Manager. After clicking "Write output" you can specify options for the WINDMASTER interface: The interface generates the WINDMASTER files located in the Transfer Shell. You may open a shell window in this directory by selecting the menu items "Utility" and "Transfer Shell".
 

Defining boundary conditions and properties for WINDMASTER

For a grid generated with MULCAD/PADAMM, the "Unspecified Bound. Cond." menu in MULCAD is used to define boundary conditions and cell flags. For a grid generated with the HEXA-Mesher, those may be defined in the property menu of the DDN-Mesher-Interface, or directly from the HEXA-Mesher under the menu option "Edit boco".Please refer to the General Remarks section
