RADTHERM (TDF) Interface

The ANSYS ICEM-CFD - TDF translator creates the TDF input file for use with ThermoAnalytics Inc. softwares.

Creating the TDF Input Files

The translator writes the TDF input surface mesh file using an unstructured domain file. To create the TDF input file, select the translator "TDF" in the "Output" menu. After clicking "Write input" you can specify options for the interface:

select an existing unstructured domain file
specify the prefix for the TDF input file (default is tdf.mesh)

The interface generates the TDF files in current project directory.
Please refer to the General Remarks section for more details on defining boundary conditions.

Limitations

Boundary conditions are not currently supported by the TDF I/O library and so are not supported in the interface.
This interface is currrenly supported on SGI IRIX.
