The translator creates grid files and a boundary condition file for Auto-CFD from a structured mesh.

Creating the Auto-CFD Files

The translator writes the Auto-CFD files using structured domain files and the corresponding topology and boundary condition files. To create the Auto-CFD input files, select the translator "Auto-CFD" in the "Output" menu. After clicking on the icon "Write input" you can specify options for the Auto-CFD interface:

• select existing structured domain file(s)
• give the name of the topology file
• give the name of the boundary condition file
• specify the domain number offset
• specify the bound. cond. number offset
• specify if the grid files are ASCII or binary (default is binary)
• give the prefix name of the Auto-CFD files (default is autocfd)

The interface generates for each block a grid file and one boundary condition dataset located in the project directory:

• prefix.zn : grid file of block n
• prefix.bc : boundary condition dataset
• prefix.log: log file

Defining boundary condition for Auto-CFD

The program supports property ID as boundary conditions for regions.
