ANSYS Mechanical Solutions - Technology
Materials Technology
ANSYS Mechanical solutions offer the complete range of linear and nonlinear
material models required for accurate representation of material behavior
in the real world. The material behavior is independent of the type of elements
used in the FE model. In addition an advanced curve fitting toolkit offers
accurate conversion of nonlinear material data from experimental to mathematical
model for analysis. A comprehensive list of material models supported by ANSYS
is given below:

In addition to the above material models for analysis, ANSYS supports a curve
fitting toolkit for converting experimental data into the numerical fit and
material model for analysis. Currently ANSYS supports curve fitting for the
folllowing materials:
- Hyperelastic materials
- Creep materials
- Viscoelastic materials
Temperature dependency is supported for all three behaviors.
