By utilizing a geometry format familiar to turbomachinery designers, ANSYS TurboGrid automatically represents curve-based geometry with minimal user input.
Geometric Representation
(Click on image to view full screen GUI.)
ANSYS TurboGrid can capture the leading and trailing edge information as well as the geometric continuity of hub, shroud and blade surface profiles. This enhances the fidelity of the geometric representations in ANSYS TurboGrid as well as streamlining the interface with ANSYS BladeModeler.
This geometry becomes the basis for creating the mesh topology.
