The Moduals have all been connected within ANSYS ICEM CFD that hybrid mesh is the natural result. All the surface meshing moduals can be used with the any of three tetra meshing modulas and hexa core and or prism can be added.

In the above example, the surface mesh was created with the patch independent mesher, then prism and hexa core were added connected by a thin region of delaunay tetra.
In the next example, the user chose to start with a quad mesh and then filled with a swept hexa/prism boundary layer and delaunay tetras.
