Automatic conversion to HEX cells

ICEM CFD Tetra has the ability to take an existing tetrahedral mesh and automatically convert it to a hexahedral mesh. At ICEM CFD Engineering we have called this type of meshing HEX dominant. A high percentage of the mesh is hexahedral elements, resorting to tetrahedral elements in complex areas with the connections handled by pyramid and prism cells. The process is outlined below.
