The block edges in ANSYS ICEM CFD Hexa are associated with CAD curves
and then all nodes on the edge are projected automatically. You can edit the associations to associate the edges with surfaces, faces with particular surfaces, verts with points, etc. There are also automatic functions to update associations with new geometry, etc.
