License Guide for CATIA V5

Installing IBM LUM (License Use Runtime Management) software
1. Get IBM LUM licensing software from the IBM download site or CDROM
   and install this on machine

2a. Installing LUM software (Windows)
     Start->Run->arkwin460.exe
2b. Installing LUM software (Irix)
     Open a console window and log in as root.
     cd /LUM/sun
     tar xvf arksgi4xx.tar
     cd SGI
     ./setup
2c. Installing LUM software (Solaris)
     Open a console window and log in as root.
     cd /LUM/sun
     tar xvf arksun4xx.tar
     admintool
     From Browse, select Software.
     From Edit, select Add.
     In Software Location, select hard Disk and enter the name of
     the directory to which you downloaded the code (/LUM/sun).
     Select License Use Management Runtime Base Code from the list.
     Click Add.

Requesting a Catia V5 license (ME2: user, CDC: CAA RADE development)
1. Retrieve the machine TargetID
   Windows: i4target.exe -O
   Solaris: /opt/lum/ls/os/solaris/bin/i4target -O
   IRIX   : /opt/lum/ls/os/svr4.sgi/bin/i4target -O

2. Enter request for license (specify Nodelocked or Server license)
   Send the LUM TargetID number to Vijay.Shah@ansys.com
     (example: Requesting a Server license for TargetID: 7ce041fc win32mac)

3. Retrieve the Catia V5 license and save it on the machine
   (suggest path \DassaultSystemes\lic)
