Two new meanline design tools are included with ANSYS BladeModeler software:
PCA Engineers Vista CCD for Centrifugal Compressors
Given the compressor duty — mass flow, pressure ratio, etc. — and geometric constraints, the program will configure the compressor impeller geometry and provide essential non-dimensional performance parameters — specific speed, specific flow, etc.
PCA Engineers Vista CPD for Centrifugal Pumps and Volutes
Given the pump duty — flow rate, head, speed, etc. — and geometric constraints, the program will configure the pump impeller and volute geometry and provide essential non-dimensional performance parameters — specific speed, suction specific speed, head coefficient, etc.
For both of these tools, blade geometry is output directly to the BladeGen component of ANSYS BladeModeler
