To verify

• Start Windows Explorer.

• Select the icon of the disk on which you are installing AUTODYN.

• Right-click on that icon and select Properties.

• Select the General tab folder on the dialog box.

Physical Memory

Requirement

Minimum: 1024 MB

Recommended: 2048 MB +

To verify

• Start Windows Explorer.

• Select Help->About Windows.

Virtual Memory

Requirement

Minimum: 1024 MB

Recommended: 2 GB +

To verify

• Select  Start->Settings->Control Panel from the Task Bar.  

• Double-click the System icon in the Control Panel.

• Select the Performance tab folder and locate the Virtual Memory section

Graphics Card (Only required on Windows® Operating Systems)

Requirement

Hardware acceleration for increased graphics performance requires a suitable graphics card:

• We do not recommend any particular graphics card.

• AUTODYN is not customized or optimized for any particular graphics card.

• However, utilization of hardware rendering is via OpenGL, so it is important to pick a card with good support for OpenGL.

To verify

• Users are encouraged to download the latest drivers directly from the graphics card manufacturer, if any performance issues arise.
