AUTODYN is run interactively.
Single graphical User Interface (GUI) is used for Problem-Setup Simulation and Post-Processing.
The GUI is set up to minimize the amount of effort required to run a calculation from beginning to end.
Interactive use enables instant discovery of the majority errors made and incorrect values specified.
Immediate feedback greatly reduces the time to set up problems, to run and to analyze the results.
The GUI is set up with a logical layout enabling new users to find options where they most likely expect them.
Problem setup, can be promptly modified through the same GUI with instant results, if the results show need for changes.
A combination of graphical outputs can be displayed while the simulation is running.
A calculation can be stopped, changes made to the model then restarted with the changes. Changes can also be made to any of the previously recorded restart files.
The interactive GUI is easy to learn, yet it is equally powerful for experienced users.
Data can be analyzed using a comprehensive set of graphic displays and data manipulation and analysis tools. Animations can also be produced directly by AUTODYN.
