ANSYS simulation software is used extensively in the steam turbine industry by all the leading manufacturers. Applications include blade aero-dynamics and thermodynamics, exhaust casings, blade loading and rotordynamics. Advanced technology provided by ANSYS, for example models predicting the condensation of steam droplets in the primary flow path, make it the simulation software of choice in this industry.
Furthermore, ANSYS gives analysts the ability to include all relevant geometry and physics details in their virtual prototypes, so they can directly determine the interaction between different design decisions.
