Introduction to POLYFLOW
|Date||May 14, 2013 - May 17, 2013 (4 days)|
The complete Intro to ANSYS POLYFLOW training is a 4 day course.
On day 1 and 2 the training will focus on the POLYFLOW solver and how to setup, solve and post-process your results from ANSYS POLYFLOW.
On day 3 the training will focus on geometry creation and specifically focus on ANSYS DesignModeler. If you know that you will be using ANSYS DesignModeler, then you should definitely plan on attending day 1 of training. Even if you don't plan on using ANSYS DesignModeler, this day of training could still be helpful since we will discuss some things to think about when creating geometries for CFD analyses and we will also talk about the geometry cleanup tools in ANSYS DesignModeler. If you are unsure if the ANSYS DesignModeler training is right for you, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
On day 4 the training will focus on creating your CFD meshes using ANSYS Meshing. If you will be using another program to create your CFD meshes, you may still find this day of training to be helpful because we will talk about some of the important things that you need to consider when creating CFD meshes. If you are unsure if the ANSYS Meshing training is right for you, please contact email@example.com.
This course is intended for people who have had little or no experience with ANSYS POLYFLOW. New users of the software should register for the four-day training course which includes the following topics:
- Day 1: Introduction to ANSYS POLYFLOW Solver
- Day 2: Continuation of ANSYS POLYFLOW Solver
- Day 3: Introduction to ANSYS DesignModeler
- Day 4: Introduction to ANSYS Meshing
The three modules can be booked as individual courses at 750 €/day (exc. VAT). For commercial customers there are discounts for groups attending the same course. Please contact us for information.
- A technical education and background is recommended but an engineering degree is not required.
Recommended Follow-on Courses (which is dependent upon the student's interests and applications)
- Blow Molding
