Laminate Tools is a suite of integrated software modules interfacing with software from ANSYS for full functionality for composite material structures. The result is improved accuracy in design, analysis and manufacture (through automatic flat pattern generation). Modifications and iterations in design are easier, because the analyst works at the global ply level. While the draping simulation is necessary to obtain full benefits, all other laminate visualisation and post-processing features can be used on a standard ANSYS model without additional modelling or effort.
