ANSYS Academic High Performance Computing (HPC)

ANSYS Academic customers can now benefit from High Perfomance Computing (HPC). For structural, thermal & electromagnetics physics, users can take advantage of 2 processors/cores without the need to add-on an Academic HPC product. However, when you need more than two processors/cores ANSYS Academic HPC licenses are available on a per processor (per core or per thread) basis for four different "physics" for use with Academic Research products as follows:

Academic Associate customers can make use of the ANSYS commercial HPC products.

2. "SMP without HPC" refers to the NPROC=2 SMP ability provided for DesignSpace, Mechanical & Multiphysics capability. This does not apply to the ANSYS CFX or ANSYS TAS capability included in these products.
