Course Overview

This one-day course uses examples and exercises to provide a comprehensive understanding of Q3D Extractor. The course is intended for beginners and intermediate users and assumes no prior knowledge of Q3D Extractor.

Course Description

The Intro to ANSYS Q3D course covers using the Ansoft Q3D Desktop features, such as creating and manipulating parametric 3D models, and working with different data types. The course also discusses problem setup with emphasis on correlating/comparing measured and simulated data with an overview focusing on the practical aspects of passive device modeling and how to improve performance and productivity. The Intro to ANSYS Q3D course also includes basic sections on 3D field visualization and high-level and low-level data manipulation. It also includes a small overview of 2D Extractor, a complimentary tool with specific emphasis on creating a parametric model.

The course also includes relevant "hands-on" workshops and exercises.
