Whats new in ANSYS Offshore Products for Wave Hydrodynamics and Structural Integrity at ANSYS 13.0
ANSYS Release 13.0 sees major advances towards achieving the roadmap for our Offshore Products (ANSYS AQWA & ANSYS ASAS), in terms of migrating ANSYS AQWA into ANSYS Workbench and transfer of key capabilities of ANSYS ASAS to our Structural Mechanics products. This webinar will introduce the product roadmap and will then highlight the new capabilities introduced at 13.0. The migration of ANSYS AQWA has been extended to include a new Hydrodynamic Time Response system in ANSYS Workbench. This brings new capabilities as well as the ease of use and connectivity with geometry and meshing tools, which will be highlighted with other developments. Important developments include improved cable modeling. In addition to some ANSYS ASAS solver capabilities which have been introduced to our Structural Mechanics products, the webinar will also outline how the ANSYS ASAS code checking capabilities are being made available. This will include introduction to the new design assessment system in ANSYS Workbench and how this not only works with our ANSYS BEAMCHECK and ANSYS FATJACK products but how users can manage their own advanced customised post-processing which can range from simple load combinations to the application of their own code checking tools.
